HATCH Student Living is a new and vibrant network of homes for students studying in Ireland. Our philosophy is to provide prestige accommodation, an exceptional student living environment, and a lifelong experience. Bright, comfy, stylish accommodation, with all the facilities you need, HATCH will become the place you call home during your studies.

All through your stay we have a fun calendar of events including BBQ’s comedy nights, and trips. With stylish internal and external communal areas each of our locations provides space including gyms, games rooms, quiet areas and areas to simply chill or read a book.

SO I NEED A GUARANTOR?
At HATCH Cork you currently need a parental guarantor.
IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
For the 2017 / 2018 academic year there is no deposit. However we would expect that when you leave that the apartment is left in perfect clean condition and repair. If the apartment isn’t returned in good condition a bill will be issued to your guarantor for the cost incurred.
From 2018 / 2019 there will be a booking and security deposit. We pride ourselves on the fact that our deposit deductions are very low. Because we provide an excellent service and well maintained facilities we have a strong and respectful relationship with our residents who give the rooms back as they found them when they arrived. A €75 administration fee is deducted from the deposit.
WHAT ABOUT SAFETY & SECURITY
At HATCH we go over and above to make sure our properties are safe and secure using state of the art access control and cctv systems. But don’t forget, security is a community experience also, your friends and roommates rely on you too.
HOW DO I PAY?
Payments are made direct to the HATCH client bank account. All payments should be made on time by the due date.
DO I HAVE A TV LICENSE?
Our focus is delivering you with superfast wifi throughout so that you can stream to your hearts content. Our residents tell us this is more important than basic TV, however this year you do have a TV and the license has already been put in place for you.
WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE MY FLATMATES?
We understand it can be tough sometimes living with new friends. We have a lot of experience in mentoring. If you are having difficulties settling in, please let us know.
DO I HAVE WIFI?
Superfast, and unlimited access. There is nothing more to say!
IS THERE A MAINTENANCE SERVICE AVAILABLE?
Log any maintenance requests online by email or through our portal and we will respond quickly. If there is a problem let us know, and we will do everything we can to help.
CAN I HAVE PETS?
Sorry, we don’t accommodate pets at HATCH.
CAN I GET POST/PARCELS?
Post is delivered by the post office to your apartments post box. If they have parcels that don’t fit they will leave a notice. Good News! The post office is not far away. For online shopping and parcel post please ensure they have your contact details and that you are available to meet the delivery person directly.
CAN FRIENDS/FAMILY STAY?
We don’t actively restrict you having friends or family over to stay. But, because you are living with others we do have a couple of requests. Let us know for health and safety reasons, always ask your flat mate first if its ok, they must sleep in your room, and it can only be to a maximum of 2 nights.
