HATCH Student Living is located right in the centre of Carlow Town, housing a vibrant international student community in a secure central location. SO I NEED A GUARANTOR?
At HATCH Riverbank yes you will need a parental guarantor.
IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
You can reserve your room now and only pay the booking deposit of €500 on 1st July. Once you move in the booking deposit becomes a security deposit of €500 and yes, it’s refundable. If you chose our Monthly Instalment Option, the deposit increases to the equivalent of one month’s Room Booking Fee. We trust that you will give the rooms back in the same state you got them in.
WHAT ABOUT SAFETY & SECURITY
At HATCH we go over and above to make sure our properties are safe and secure using state of the art access control and cctv systems. But don’t forget, security is a community experience also, your friends and roommates rely on you too.
WHEN DO I PAY?
All payment dates and amounts are outlined in your HATCH Booking Agreement and in the table on each product page here on the website.
You can pay monthly, or in 3 instalments or for full year bookings you can pay in full before you move in (and save €150!).
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME WHEN MOVING IN?
Your apartment and bedroom will be fully furnished. All you need, other than your own belongings, is a duvet, pillow, towels and bed linen.
DO I HAVE A TV LICENSE?
Our focus is delivering you with superfast wifi throughout so that you can stream to your hearts content. Our residents tell us this is more important than basic TV so there is no TV provided.
WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE MY FLATMATES?
We understand it can be tough sometimes living with new friends. We have a lot of experience in mentoring. If you are having difficulties settling in, please let us know.
DO I HAVE WIFI?
High speed broadband, and unlimited access. There is nothing more to say!
IS THERE A MAINTENANCE SERVICE AVAILABLE?
Log any maintenance requests online by email or through our portal and we will respond quickly. If there is a problem let us know, and we will do everything we can to help.
CAN I HAVE PETS?
Sorry, we don’t accommodate pets at HATCH.
CAN I GET POST/PARCELS?
Post is delivered by the post office to your apartments post box. If they have parcels that don’t fit they will leave a notice. Good News! The post office is not far away. For online shopping and parcel post please ensure they have your contact details and that you are available to meet the delivery person directly.
CAN FRIENDS/FAMILY STAY?
Guests are permitted at certain times but only with advance notice to HATCH via email. Guests cannot stay for longer than 2 nights consecutively and are not permitted during the first 2 weeks of term or during exam periods. HATCH reserves the right to restrict guests if necessary for operational, security or safety reasons.
